Winter 2026 Junior Competition
Trials for the 2026 Junior Winter competition are on this week! Please see below for times and locations and the link to register for the trials:

Tuesday 24th February:
​6.30pm - 7:30pm - U12 Girls, U16 Girls and U19 Girls
7.45pm - 8:45pm - U14 Girls
Location: Throsby School (1 Freshwater Street THROSBY ACT)
Wednesday 25th February:
6:00pm - 7:00 pm - U12 Boys
7:15pm - 8:15 pm - U14 Boys
Location: Harrison School (20 Wimmera Street HARRISON ACT)
Thursday 26th February:
6.30pm - 7:30pm - U16 Boys
7.45pm - 8:45pm - U19 Boys​
Location: Throsby School (1 Freshwater Street THROSBY ACT)
Saturday 28th February:
4:15pm - 5:15pm - U10 Girls and Boys, ‘come and try’ session.
Location: Shirley Smith High School (2 Rhodanthe Way KENNY ACT)

The season will start in May and run through to mid-September, encompassing 14 rounds of competition and 2 weeks of finals.
Competition age groups for the winter season are as follows.
U10s (born 2017/18/19)
U12s (born 2015/16)
U14s (born 2013/14)
U16s (born 2011/12)
U19s (born 2008/09/10)

The 2025 Gungahlin Flames Basketball Club Inc. Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held 8 September 2025 at Eastlake Football Club in Gungahlin.

Coming Up:
We will be finalising our first Club Constitution document in the coming weeks - this represents a big step forward in the maturity of the governance of our Club, which has been operating under the ACT Model Rules since its incorporation.
​
To bring the Constitution into effect, we will be holding a Special General Meeting for all members - stay tuned for more information on a date, time and location!
